I’m Nicole Ventura, a creative who is driven by a desire to collaborate with people who are as passionately dedicated to their craft as I am.
My abilities to communicate effectively, think mindfully, plan diligently, learn curiously, and create open heartedly make me an asset to any project or team I’m on. I’m currently based in my hometown in the Greater Vancouver, BC Canada region and am open to any full-time, part-time or freelance design opportunities that align with my values and career goals.
In my role as a freelance designer, and agency roles at Redstamp and Wallop, I have accumulated over 7 years of experience providing thoughtful UX/UI design for websites and digital products, content support and management, and crafting impactful digital design solutions. As a self-employed designer, I effectively manage my own projects, clients, and work myself while also collaborating closely with clients to come up with a shared vision everyone involved is happy with and proud of. At Redstamp, I progressed my design and communication skills by supporting a cross-functional team, contributing to the creation and management of design systems, and maintaining SaaS client websites. At Wallop, I developed expertise in modular design practices tailored to unique travel and hospitality brands, while also gaining proficiency in the WordPress CMS environment and working with developers. In 2018, I started my design journey when graduating from BCIT with a Certificate with Distinction from the New Media Design and Web Development program. These experiences have equipped me with a solid foundation to contribute effectively to diverse projects and teams.

I acknowledge that I live, work, and play on the unceded traditional territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil Waututh) Nations. I pay my pay respects to Indigenous Elders past, present and emerging. Sovereignty has never been ceded.
This always was and always will be, Aboriginal land.
